Needs Assessment
Do you have a technology plan and budget? Do you know how much you spent on technology in
the prior year? A technology needs assessment helps to create these vital plans. A plan is the first step to meeting your technology goals. We talk with the owner or manager to
understand your business, talk with the employees that use the technology, and take inventory of hardware & software to get a “snapshot” of your existing infrastructure. We also
consider your current financial situation to help us create a reasonable technology budget.

Disaster Avoidance & Recovery
I recently read a Dilbert comic that showed a member of the management team saying, “Our
Disaster Recovery Plan goes something like this...” The next frame had a picture of an obviously frantic man yelling, “HELP! HELP!” Maybe you can identify with this
thinking. Most small businesses do not give much thought (or validity) to this vital element of risk management. There are many things to consider: What type of insurance do we
have? Do we have good off-site backups? What will we do for temporary office space? These are just a few of the questions that a good Disaster Avoidance Plan will answer. Contact us for help. Having been through a fire, we are uniquely qualified to create a comprehensive plan for you.
