We are pleased to announce that Clint Bentz, CPA, CMA, has been selected as an adjunct faculty member for the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Tax School. Clint is an expert in family succession issues and leads the trust and estate practice group. He recently helped draft and pass the overhaul of Oregon’s estate tax laws.
Cannon Financial Institute is recognized as one of the leading global consulting and professional development firms serving the financial services industry. Cannon prides itself on providing thought leadership and practical in-depth solutions for the training needs of the banking and financial services community.
As a proud graduate of the Cannon Trust Tax School, Clint says it’s a great honor and privilege to be asked to come back as an instructor. Part of what makes the Cannon program strong is that their tax instructors are also actively practicing professionals. The firm has sent many tax professionals to be trained by Cannon over the years.
The four courses Clint will teach this summer and fall include the renowned week-long institute on Trust Taxation, and three two-day workshops on Generation Skipping Tax, Advanced Fiduciary Income Tax, and Charitable Trust and Tax Exempt Entities. The courses will take place in Chicago, Atlanta, and South Bend, Indiana at the University of Notre Dame.
Clint is a long-time board member for OSU’s Austin Family Business Program. He speaks and writes locally and nationally on issues surrounding trust taxation and estate and succession planning.
